Global Update III

[A Global Update is where I pretty much cross-post a unified blog entry across all site I reside, such as DA, FA, Myspace, LiveJourna, etc.]

Just an update of everything that's going on with me currently. . .

The New Tamiia.com

Recently I redesigned my primary website http://www.tamiia.com with a new spiffy purple color scheme :3
<3 purple ^w^

On the site I have decided to take down the digital-download products from the SHOP, taking it back to Physical CDs only.
for Digital versions of my music they are available via iTunes and Amazon MP3. . . and at BandCamp. but i'll be uploading my discography there later.

The MUSIC section has a bunch of free music files from me including my first two albums "Experimental Testing" and "StereoPhonic Oblivion" and other random tracks.
There is also a link to the JT Music FanFlow at AssetBar where you can subscribe for exclusive music tracks and works in progress previews and remixes and stuff for only $1.99/month

The FILM section @ Tamiia.com finally has an entry. A recorded video of a drawing I did for a friend (NSFW Furry Pr0n)
I will be uploading new and old videos to that section soon. . .

The ART section has been reduced to a fancy link page to my deviantART, FurAffinity, and Furocity art galleries.
I have also added a new subscription service thingy via AssetBar.
There you can subscribe for only $3.99/month for exclusive images, sketches, works in progress and full-resolution images of current works.

The FILM and ART sections both have links to Tamiia LIVE! my weekly LiveStream broadcast of realtime drawing/commissions/music/ and other stuff. . .
(Saturdays at noon pacific)

The LINKS section will just be a list of all the sites im at. . .similar to the old JT Internet Presence Index: http://blackspiremedia.net/jasentamiia/oldindex.html
most of the links are now dead or practically dead. but it is nonetheless an index to where I have or have had an account at. . .

The DATA and ARCHIVE sections will stay the way they are as file directories where you can access random files and a chronicle of the site's news.

Other than that, everything is back up and running!

Current PROJECTS

I havent released a music album since "Sugar High" back in March. Well. . .That and "Superconductor: Piano Strings Edition" but that one sucks :P

Im working on two or three new albums right now and theyve been coming along slow as hell:
"Superconductor 2" , "Omnipotence" and "T. E. Midnight: Bassline Vitals"

Though actually I scrapped Bassline Vitals and put up what I had so far into the JT Music Fanflow for subscription download, they are actually quite nice tracks
even though I made them MONTHS AGO <.<;

With Omnipotence, I have about a couple completed tracks and the other three in "Beta 2" phase. . .

The 2 out of 15 tracks to Superconductor 2 are still in beta 2 phase, I plan on making SpC2 a 2-disc special edition thingy, the other disc being a buncha
neat remasters and remakes of the original album's tracks. . .

There is also a new portfolio in the works, the FAGP2 (Fetish Art Gallery Portfolio 2)
So far I have about 40+ sketches done, hopefully I will get upwards of 50 or 70 sketches.
CG coloring them all will be a pain in the ASS: CG colors of decent quality take me anywhere from 4 to 12+ hours each.

Upcoming Goals

I want to attend at least ONE more furrycon before the year is out, and hopefully it will either be Midwest FurFest in Illinois, or FOXmas in New York.
(i'd like to go to both if I can hehehe~)
I came to the conclusion that it takes -at least- $1200+ for me to attend any con in the U.S.
Cost between AirFare, Hotel Share (just a share), Registration, Baggage Fees, Food, etc.

Since my epic fail of financial management after AnthroCon, my parents have reasonably barred me from funding any trips with my day-job monies <.<;
(I have serious bills coming up anyway)

The only way I can afford to attend a convention effectively is to budget that $1200 minimum. And these funds have to come from things such as:
Art Commissions, Music Sales, or outright auctioning off my stuff ^^;;; (which I did with my PSP and all my games for it to get to RainFurrest :3)

Some Random Numbers to give the scope of what I would need:
To reach the goal of $1200 I would have to sell:

240 $5 Sketches
or
48 $25 Marker Color pics
or
120 individual CD albums
or
20 Top Standard CG images that will probably never get done <_<;;

However, I have released a nice deal for those interested in my Music CDs:
You can get a copy of All Six of my CD releases for only $40! ($60+s/h individually)
If I can sell only 40 of these packs, I can make it to MFF or FOXmas this year!
(though I'd have to sell them all in a small period of time or else it wouldnt work)

Yet again I have neglected this area of the web. . .

I find it ironic, Just as I try to improve my creative productivity in times of idle waiting,
Art Block sets in.
But when that time has passed and it becomes time to work, I find myself producing so much I cannot find the time to process it all and it becomes a hindrance upon my working productivity.

During the past two months, after graduating High School, I tried to push alot of media work out of my mind and onto the screens in preparation for the 'drought' that would be 'EMT-1'.

Though this period of training would only last three to four weeks, such an exile could be potentially devastating to my digital reputation that took over five years to establish.

When it comes to the internet, once you leave, might as well come back as another person because there will be many people who will forget you. . .
It HAS happened to me once and I will NEVER let it happen again. Not after i've come this far.

ANYWAY, in the two months I had left, I managed to squeeze out about 13 pages of drawings, amounting to about 11 completed computer-colored images.
In the past three weeks I couldnt help but crank out nearly 20 pages of drawings, so far I managed to find some time to finish only three complete digital images.

Why is it I am able to draw when I do not have the time?
Why do I have the urge to draw just when I need to pay attention?
WHY THE HELL AM I DRAWING SO MUCH BONDAGE ART LATELY?!
I don't understand it, for some reason a large bolus of inhibition has released some awkward inspiration into me, right in the middle of class!

Im running out of time tonight, perhaps I may update this tomorrow. .
Now there is a thought. . .

My annual Inspiration Week [aka Spring Break] has occurred once again. It is the fifth anniversary of the week that I became an artist, since then, this hobby became an obsession, leading to my interest in the internet, digital art, music, video, film, television, practically every digital aspect of my life in its youthful professional glory.

Spring break allowed my mind to clear of all school-based stresses and release all the ideas that have been building up in my mind for weeks. . . I have so many drawings, it will take several weeks to process them into finalized CG color pieces. . .
I also finished several CG color pieces as well over the vacation.

Saw a movie in the theater, and bought dvds of many more and watched them at home during the week. . .

got FF7: Advent Children, the movie lots of people have been talking about, I see what all the hype is about, it turned out to be very impressive!

Speaking of movies, just last week I have FINALLLY finished post-production of my latest movie: H4CK | 1N REDUX Part One! first started in early November 2005, this project took 7 mohtns to make yielding a full 12-minute episode.

i gotta start updating my journals regularly. . .

I also installed a few weeks ago a Blog system into my media website specially designed for the production crew and other members to post journals regarding making the movies and things and such. . .

every day during my web page design class, me and my friend try to hack the computers so that the system would stop tripping over itself when we try to do our assignments on them, because the school will not be able to install the new machines they ordered until the Summer Vacation, and this being my last year at high school, I wont be able to enjoy the new workstations next year.

I am going straight to a college right after I graduate High School, in fact, three days before the Graduation Ceremony!
I will be enrolling in an Emergency Medical Technician course at the local college and the class starts on the 19th of June. I graduate on the 22nd.

anyway, its kinda better that I dont update this very often, cuz then I will have enough to write about in one post. . .

Yet again, I havent updated this place in nearly three months. . .
Anyway, plenty of things have happened between then and now:
for instance, I have been in the process of producing TWO new movies, one of which is now at a total length of 7 minutes!
I have also updated my media website with several new short movies and clips. . .
broke my arm trying to snowboard during winter break, the cast comes off on February 1st.
which has not even slowed me down in the devolpment of my art skill. . .
from this I wound up using Photoshop's Pen tool alot, as I cannot wield my tablet pen because of my cast. . .
though with this slight handicap I have created quite a few nice pieces!

The other day in school I recieved my Second Semester class schedule.
It so happens that the Mayfair High Yearbook crew wants me to join them in second semester.
they must have seen my work. . .

For some reason I have been grounded and forced to quit my Film Crew Class that I run afterschool. . .for at least until next semester.
But for the time being, my protege, who was supposed to take over the crew when I graduated, has to take over now to keep the place running until My dad lets me go back when I get my grades up again. . .

Recently, I've also wrote two new songs to add to my list of original music. . .

And my site is now hosting more sites too!

Movies and More:
http://www.blackspiremedia.net

Jasen Tamiia Original Music:
http://music.blackspiremedia.net

JT@DA, Art site:
http://jasentamiia.deviantart.com

    <lj:music>. . .Its on Random!!</lj:music>

My mind is emptying itself of descriptive analogies like a lunchline five minutes after opening!
[there goes another one. . .]

My day. . .what can I say about my day. . .that is worth reading?
jeez, my journal is more bland than a mouthful of chalk for crying out loud!

random comic dialog to follow:
"Does that turn you on?"
__"No it doesnt. In fact, it downright turns me off and tears out the wall switch!!"

okay.

back to journal.

Anyway, stuff went well today, got alot more reading done, another 110 pages in two hours, at this rate, ill have this book done before school is out.

Though today still had its dents.
some jerks thought it was funny to throw paper and taunt me while I was working on my plaque with a wood router. and then another prick took some random offense at me sweeping my saw dust so he smacks up my project in a rage on purpose.

The teacher did nothing, but theyll get theirs the next time they do. . .
whatever.

Afterschool im gonna work some more on my personal film project at my friends house and hopefully have them all done before this thursday.

and hopefully, my dad will get me the website I asked for in the next week or two.

alot of things happening lately, its becoming a bit condensed and I have to run through them all to get them done while doing what the heck I want to do at the time I want it done. .

speaking of which, I havent actually DRAWN anything lately. . .nor did I make any new Mixed Trackes either . .

Time to make a BIG To Do list today. . .
